Visit Delco PA, the Official Tourism Promotion Agency of Delaware County, Pennsylvania contracted Media Proper for a full rebrand of their existing identity. The project consisted of everything from a new logo and brand identity, to a complete overhaul of their existing web presence.

Logo Design
Our first task was to design a new logo and breathe new life into an outdated mark. The existing logo was modeled after a road sign, and that “jawn” had entirely too much information. We streamlined the logo and gave it a new classic look by removing “Delaware County, PA” and the .com extension. Not wanting a complete departure from the previous version, we carried the arrow into the new design as it demonstrated motion and the thought of travel.
Responsive Website Design
After the logo was squared away we moved forward and tackled the website design. The website needed to be colorful and inviting, while providing visitors information about places to Eat, Stay, and Play. In addition to the three main areas, we created a section to promote upcoming events and another for news and fun things to do in Delaware County.

Local Directory Listings
Directory listings were created for places to Eat, Stay, and Play. Each listing is tagged with all relevant information including a description, directions, and a highlighted pin dropped on a map – making it easier for “youse guys” to do things like discover the best cheesesteaks and hoagies, or locate a park with a “crick” to sit by the “wooder.”

The Complete Package
With the addition of a new logo and website, the corporate identity items needed to be updated as well. We extended the new brand across their corporate identity package with a new letterhead, business cards, and envelopes.

The result was a completely overhauled presence, providing Delaware County’s Official Tourism Promotion Agency with a new look and modern website platform which can scale for any of their future needs.
