Brad Stookey

Bradley Stookey has been building for the web since before the tools existed. He was writing custom content management systems from scratch in the years before foundations like WordPress, Squarespace and Wix, developing by hand the kind of functionality clients now expect off the shelf. That foundation still shapes how he works: he understands what modern platforms are doing beneath the surface, which means he knows where they can be pushed and when something needs to be built properly instead. A former advertising and editorial photographer, Bradley pairs an acute attention to detail with a strong understanding of how people actually move through a site rather than how a diagram says they should. He grew up in Chester County, and at Media Proper he handles development across a range of client work, translating what a business needs into something considered, durable and genuinely usable. Grounded in nature and travel, he lives mostly on the road with his wife in a 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia. When he’s home, he plays ice hockey, races sailboats, and loves to tinker.
